Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

Orders

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm dispatch. Until then, we can decline or cancel any order - including for pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, you get a full refund.

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT. We do our best to keep prices and product information accurate. If we get something obviously wrong - a box listed at R5.99 is an error, not a promotion - we'll cancel the order and refund you.

Payment

Payment is processed at checkout through our payment providers. We don't see or store your full card details. Orders ship once payment clears.

Shipping and delivery

We ship within South Africa. Delivery estimates are estimates. Couriers have bad days. Once your order is handed to the courier, we'll send you tracking.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Check your order when it arrives. If something's damaged or wrong, our Refund Policy tells you exactly what to do.

Returns and refunds

Covered in full by our Refund Policy. Short version: 7 days to return sealed, unopened tins for any reason; damaged or defective products replaced or refunded at our cost; your Consumer Protection Act rights stay intact.

Products

Our products are tea. They are not medicine, not supplements, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. Some of our teas contain caffeine. Some don't. It says which on the tin.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are sensitive to caffeine, read the label and use your judgement - or ask a professional.

Product images are accurate representations. Minor variations in colour and appearance happen. It's a natural product.

Your account and conduct

If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Don't use this site to do anything unlawful, don't attempt to break it, and don't scrape it. That covers most of it.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site - the name, logo, copy, images, design - belongs to us or is licensed to us. Buying tea doesn't buy you a licence to use any of it. Don't reproduce our content without written permission.

Privacy

We collect and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that can't be contracted out of.

Beyond that, to the extent the law allows: we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

We're also not liable for downtime, errors, or interruptions to the site. We'll fix them, but we don't guarantee a perfect website. Nobody honestly can.
